First screening in class

today i had to get my arse out of bed at 6.30 am (ended waking up at 7.05 am --- overslept :P) just to go college and watch movie..... i don't know whether to call that a blessing in disguise or just plain doings of lecturer torturing us. Anywayz today was worth waking up early though, we watched this short film entitled 9/11. As you would have guessed it this film is about the Sept 11 tragedy. The interesting thing about this film is that there are 9 short story altogether. Each story is produced by 9 different producers coming from 9 different countries and each one of the stories are 9 minutes, 11 seconds and 1 frame long.... i think.... or i might mix up the numbers but it's roughly like that hehehe. Knowing the diversity of this film when my lecturer told us already made me wait in anticipation for today's screening, but to watch it....... the feeling is indescribable. You know how you feel the minute credits rolled in during LOTR, you just feel like 'AhHhhhhhhh what a great movie! So worth my 10 bucks~'. But with this one, i felt like 'HOLY COW!'.... then i get this stoned i-am-so-blown-away look. Not the best looking expression but hEy it's priceless!! hahahaha. Mind you this is not the kind of movie where u just watch, OOoooo....aaAaaa.... then finish. There's like an interpretation to each story and when u really think about it, it's touching really. The meaning of the whole story, how people were effected by the tragedy all over the world, how it changed the life of a single ordinary citizen in each of the 9 countries. Anybody who is easily moved by life should watch the movie (yup i'm one of 'em ^_^ *sigh*).
